African Safari Sensory Bin


You will need:
- Black and White Pluffle
- Black and White Pom Poms
- Small Toy Zebras
- One Black Cup
- One White Cup
- Tweezers
Directions:
Place the Pluffle, Pom Poms, and Toy Zebras in your sensory bin. Set the black and white cups next to it. Have your child use the tweezers to pick up and place in the matching cup

Pyramid Engineering Project

You will need:
- Magnatiles- 8 Long Triangles
- Magnatiles- 2 Squares
- Marker
- Paper
Directions:
Trace one triangle and one square on your paper. Label each shape. Next place a triangle on each side of the square. You will than trace the outline of the unfolded pyramid. Discussing
Now have your child tell you the names of the shapes they see. Explain how pyramids can be built by using a square as a base and triangles as the sides. Demonstrate how to build by creating your own pyramid for the child to see and have them recreate their own. With the blueprint or from memory.
Giraffe Feeding /t/ Phonics Game



You will need:
- FREE Leaf /t/ and Giraffe Template
- Small box
- Tape
- Scissors
Directions:
After printing out both the leaves and giraffe template, cut out the giraffe and the mouth. Next tape the giraffe to the box.
Cut out the leaves. Now practice saying the phoneme “/t/” with your child. Show them the letter on the leaf and have them practice saying the letter’s sound. Everytime the child says the phoneme allow them to feed the giraffe the letter.
*It’s important to note that the letter “t” does not say ‘tuh’.
Giraffe Finger Paint Craft

Youu will need:
- Brown paint
- Orange construction paper
- Yellow construction paper
- Scissors
- Black pen
- Glue
Directions:
Cut out the shape of the giraffe using the yellow construction paper. Using the orange construction paper, cut out the ossicones and an oval. Glue the ossicones on the back of the giraffe’s head. Glue the oval on the lower center of the giraffes face. Finish the body by drawing two eyes and two dots on the oval for nostrils.
Now have your child dip one finger in the brown paint and add the spots to the giraffes body.
Maasai Necklace


You will need:
- Paper Plate
- Green, Blue, Red, and Yellow Paint
- Scissors
- Red or Blue Marker
- Q-tips
Directions:
Fold the paper plate in half and cut out the center of the plate. Next cut away most of the outer ring leaving about two and half inches still on. This will be the bottom of the necklace. On the top of the necklace cut out a large gap so the child will be able to wear it once done. Now using a marker, create a zigzag pattern along the plate.
Now have the child place a q-tip in the paint and dot on small circles (this will act as the beads of the necklace)
Giraffe Pom Poms Counting 11-15


You will need:
- Free giraffe download
- Brown pom poms
- Scissors
Directions:
Using the scissors cut out the giraffes. Now have your child count out the number of pompoms needed for each giraffe.
Lion’s Mane Number Puzzle 11-15

You will need:
- Free lion’s mane puzzle download
- Scissors
Directions:
Cut out the lions head than cut out the numbers attached. Have your child count the dots and place the correct number ontop of the dots to complete the puzzle.
Lion’s Mane Barber Shop

You will need:
- Free Lion’s Mane download
- Scissors
- Orange and Brown pipe cleaners
- Tweezers
- Cup
Directions:
Cut out the lions face. Next use the ends of the scissors to create little dots along its mane. Cut each pipe cleaner into thirds. Now place them into the little dots on the mane. Next use your finger to create little spirals in the pipe cleaner.
Now have your child use the tweezers to pull out the pipecleaners and place them into the cup
