Take a Slice Pie Craft

Materials Needed:

  • Orange Tape
  • Scissors
  • Paper Plate
  • Brown Paint
  • Paint Brush
  • Brown Paper
  • Glue
  • White PomPom

Instructions:

Cut six 1/2 an inch strips of brown paper

Next cut out around 20 squares out of brown paper also 1/2 an inch thick

Add a drop of brown paint on top of the paper plate

Give your child the paint brush and have them paint the flat surface of the plate brown

Cut the orange tape into squares while the paint is drying

Have your child work on their pincher grasp, coordination, and control by having them place the orange pieces of tape in the middle of the plate

Next glue 3 brown paper strips horizontally on the plate

On top of the previously glued strips, glue down 3 brown paper strips vertically

Cut off excess

Next add a ring of glue around the rim of the plate

Have your child cover them with the brown paper squares

Add a dot of glue to the bottom of a white PomPom, and have your child place it on a middle strip of brown paper to act as the pies whip cream
